On March 1st, 2025, ToxTails, Port Macquarie’s premier charity gala, returned in spectacular style, bringing together the region’s finest for an unforgettable evening of fundraising, entertainment, and celebration. Proudly sponsored by Regional Australia Bank, this year’s event raised over $63,000, bringing the total funds raised since ToxTails’ inception in 2022 to an incredible $180,000 over four years.
Held at the Port Macquarie Racecourse, the event provided a stunning backdrop for a night of generosity, glamour, and community spirit.
The event was created by Dr. Kristy Kostalas, local GP and owner of Port Medical Aesthetics Clinic, with the name Toxtails being a play on words, reflecting both the cocktail-style event and the cosmetic clinic's industry ties.
With proceeds supporting Liberty Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Services, the generosity of our guests and sponsors continues to make a tangible impact – ensuring Liberty can continue its critical work, including the areas of Prevention, Intervention, Response and Recovery and Healing Programs.

Liberty Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Services leads the Port Macquarie-Hastings community to improve the safety of woman and children through the provision of specialist domestic and family violence prevention, intervention, response and recovery and healing services. Liberty’s specialist team supports families through all stages of their journey towards safety. From helping a woman in the peak of crisis secure a safe place to stay, to linking her and her children with various services, and walking beside her on her healing journey.
